OK, the best I can I will give the statement by Carlton Cuse from the April 25th, 2008 Podcast:

6:17 Mark in the pod cast:

“I think it would be a fair deduction to say he summoned the monster. But..it also seems pretty clear from what’s going on in that scene, that you know, there are consequences to summoning the monster that even Ben doesn’t have control over. He looked a little nervous and was like, Let’s skidaddle.”

Now, let’s go to the season Finale where you get this conversation:

LOCKE: What’s that for?

BEN: I’m going somewhere cold.

(Zips up jacket)

LOCKE: Then where is mine?

BEN: You don’t need one because you’re not going with me.

LOCKE: Yes, I am going with you.

BEN: No, John, you’re not.

LOCKE: Jacob told me what we had to do. You don’t get to make all the decisions–

BEN: He told you what to do, but he didn’t tell you how because he wants me to suffer the consequences.

LOCKE: What consequences?

BEN: Whoever moves the island can never come back. So I’d like you to get on the elevator, John, and go back up. Richard and my people will be waiting 2 miles east of the Orchid.

Ok, maybe a stretch, but based on Mr. Cuse’s explanation of Ben not knowing the consequences when he summed the monster….and then, hearing John say ‘Move the Island’ at the end of the episode CABIN FEVER….I think we can at least reasonably assume, Ben’s consequence for summoning the SMOKE MONSTER is in fact to move the island.

Now, if this is true…it leads us to at least three other questions that need to be addressed:

***Is Smokey and Jacob related when it comes to communication?****

***If Ben is trying to get back to the island…is he disobeying his consequence, or was he simply not being truthful to Locke (which seemingly is always the case)?****

***So how the hell do Claire and Christian play into the whole DELIVERENCE of CONSEQUENCES on the island now*****

I’ve started the wheels turning on my theories on the three questions. However, they are outside the purpose of this theory and will post at a later date. So what are your thoughts? Do you think Ben’s consequence for summoning the monster was moving the island?

Who has seen the latest videos from the Dharma Special Access??

It shows a clip from the first episode of Season 5 and Jack and Ben are talking about why Jack changed his mind about returning to the island. Jack said that Sawyer and Juliet & others would die if he didn’t go back.

Alot of people have said that Jacob is Locke, Jack or Christian but I don’t think I’ve ever read anywhere that Jacob is Horace.

So here’s what I think:

Horace is Jacob and when Locke saw him building the cabin he was building it for himself.

Ben knows that Jacob is Horace but hasn’t told anyone. Horace doesn’t use Jacob as a name, it’s a name that Ben made up to fool everyone. There is no such person as Jacob, it is just simply Horace.

Horace needs Lockes help and so tells Christian to tell Locke to move the island. Moving the island will reset the time and Horace will be free again. He will change history and make Ben suffer for locking him up in the cabin.

I think my favourite episode is Walkabout. Even after all this time it still sends a shiver down my spine when we find out Locke was once paralysed. It was like the first time we know that all is not what it’s cracked up to be on that island.

What’s yours??

Ok, so this isn’t really a theory. It’s more of a debate.

I’m inclined to believe that Jacob is one of the losties who went back in time at the end of Season 4. (Ok, it’s not known for definate that they’ve gone back in time but from the previews it looks likely).

So, if this is true, and Jacob is one of the losties that went back in time… then who is he?

The candidates are:

Sawyer

Daniel

Bernard

Miles

Richard

I can’t think of anymore men who went back in time, other than Locke (who we know is Jeremy Bentham), so who out of those five is most likely to be Jacob?

Thoughts please.

In Season 4 Kate had a dream about Claire. Claire was tending to Aaron and when Kate interupted her, Claire warned Kate “not to bring him back”.

The persumtion here is that Claire is talking about Aaron. But lets put another spin on things.

What if Claire was talking about Locke? Locke is now dead and we know Jack has to bring him back to the island. We’ve seen that dead people can be resureccted once on the island (Christian), so what if Locke is resurected and bad things start to happen again?

It could also be Ben. Ben has done alot of things that he thinks are good for the island but result in deaths of people etc. What if Claire was warning Kate not to let Ben return to the island?

Food for thought, no?

C’mon now folks. Kate has got to be the sexiest lady on Lost. Who agrees with me?

I’m lucky to be her bra. 😉

  • Walt was a passenger on Oceanic Flight 815.
Walt and Michael left the island some time late in November, 2004.
Walt arrived in New York within days of leaving the island and has been raised by his grandmother ever since.
The Oceanic Six are rescued in January, 2005, and report there were NO other survivors.
  • So, what identity has Walt assumed since leaving the island? He can no longer be Walt Lloyd as this would contradict the testimony of Jack and the Oceanic Six. Is he also lying?
