I'm kind of new at writing theories and this might be sort of a stretch connecting these two, but they might come together at some point. Not knowing if this has already been acknowledged, Galileo Galilei once wrote a letter to Grand Duchess Mother in the 17th century stating his argument on the truth of the Bible. His main claim was the argument Faith vs. Science. Continuing to state the Bible says the Earth stands still and the sun moves while scientists later learned the Earth revolves around the sun. He goes on to say "the Bible has confined itself...speaking but casually of the earth,of water, of the sun, or of any other created thing" (clearly a man of science) Furthermore, another philosopher comes along later in the 17th century and responds to Galileo's argument by comparing God to a "watchmaker" the philosopher once said "...as a watchmaker does those of a watch, whereby it perform its operations, and of a file which by rubbing on them will alter the figure of any of the wheels..the machine would quite lose its motion and watch go no more" this was said by none other then the famous philosopher, John Locke. Thought that was pretty neat, sorry it's so long! This is great! Another little tid-bit, when practicing Tai-Chi, you are forbidden from wearing a watch because it interferes with your natural 'chi'. As an enthusiast, I have not worn a watch, in many years.
