Faraday and Charles

I apologize if this has already been said, but i have a few thoughts on Faraday and Widmore.

I believe that Widmore has traveled in time, and he knows that Faraday’s research will help him get back to the island. That is why he funds Faraday’s research.

It is also possible that Widmore is Faraday’s father.

    Both are excellent reasons as to why Widmore funds Faraday. I like to think that it is either one or the other being, if Faradays research will bring Widmore back to the island, then Widmore is NOT his father; likewise, if Widmore IS faraday’s father, then Faraday’s research will NOT bring Widmore back.

    I think that he funds Faraday’s research because he met him when he was on the island in the 1950s.
