		<description>Both are excellent reasons as to why Widmore funds Faraday.  I like to think that it is either one or the other being, if Faradays research will bring Widmore back to the island, then Widmore is NOT his father; likewise, if Widmore IS faraday&#039;s father, then Faraday&#039;s research will NOT bring Widmore back.</description>
