i watched the pilot again yesterday and looked out for what you said about jack jumping in the bushes. what if he was actually caught by the monster and was lying about that instead of being a Jack in time travel mode.

I have yet to see any actual interview where they said any of that. If it exists, please post a link.
I have heard that Adam and Eve will come back into play.
And I have heard that there is only one cast member who knows the ending, never heard it was Foxy though. I saw him on the tonight show or something like that, where they asked him if he knew what was going to happen. As far as I could tell he was playing around like many of them do when asked that question. I did hear a podcast from back in season 3, where one of the producers said only 3, and the other one jumped in and said 4 people know the planned ending. But I would imagine they wouldnt reveal if a cast member knew, it could jepordize a secret of the show somehow.
Could be wrong, post a link if you got one though.

By the way I heard that the writers have already told Jack (Matthew Fox) how the series is going to end. Does anyone know when they told him this?

Didn’t the writters say that they had put Adam&Eve in S1 so that by the end of the series we could all be certain that they had it all planned from the start? If whoever they turn out to be really does come to prove that, then you’ll have your answer, Thomas :]

NMB, I re-watched the Pilot last week and thought the same thing! Something about Jack seemed a bit off. Like he was avoiding to answer truthfully or just dismissing the question as fast as he could.

Gotta watch the first episode (again! Groan.)…

Remember that is the point at which they had Jack being killed in their original concept for the pilot and Kate was supposed to become the hand-off character – she was to be the real hero of the series.

AES, I don’t find it laughable, at all. I just responded to a similar post by cappayne.

I think too many of us agree that our attention is being drawn to Jack’s opening scene and episode 316, for a purpose.

Jack waking up where he did is his entry point. Just like Tunisia is the exit, that grove of bamboo tree is Jack’s entry point. remember we never saw where Kate woke up in the Pilot, so she could have entered at the lagoon for all we’ve been shown.
