The first thing I thought of was the Pilot. I didn't know so many people would be like "great find" in terms of it... it just seemed like something that younger/casual viewers were supposed to recognize. And regardless of what happened with the scene being like the first scene of LOST, I could have told you before season 5 that the ending of LOST would not be the same as the beginning. I expected as much that the passengers who were not part of the original losties would land in real time and I can even accept Ben and the pilot not flashing as they were not on 815. But I would expect all the original losties that crashed the first time would reach the Island the same way.
