You are right about the similarities between Lost and The Prisoner. I know that the similarities were discussed in a book about Lost called 'Island Treasures.' Rover was one of my favorite parts of the show and it's probably why Smokey is one of my favorite parts about Lost. Not sure if you heard that AMC is doing a updated version of The Prisoner that starts shooting in August. Supposedly they got Jim Caviziel as Number 6 and Sir Ian Maclellen as Number 2.
