…that Ben’s mother dies in childbirth just like the biblical Rachel as she was giving birth to her Benjamin the 12th son of Jacob? Leader of the 12th tribe of Israel? Is that supposed to be a clue or just something the writers are twisting our brains with?

    i proposed a theory connected the story of jacob with lost, there are some really good connections and some glaring differences…

    Then why not just name Emily Linus “Rachel”? Locke’s mom is already named Emily as well, so do we really need 2? Unless…
