The musical mobile
I was recently watching season 2 again, and in the episode “Maternity leave” when Claire, Kate and Rousseau goes to the Staff station and we see flashbacks of Claire with Ethan, there was a musical mobile hanging over the crib where they were going to keep Aaron. It has four aeroplanes around a sun/star and “Oceanic Airlines” is written on the planes. Has this been discussed? I can’t find it, if it has. I was thinking parallel universes or different timelines…..

I don’t really remember but was it an actual flashback or was it just a memory? Claire might not remember things from that time clearly because she was drugged.

Claire had a nightmare/vision in an episode in season one where she heard a baby crying. She then found Locke (with one black eye and one white eye) sat in front of a crib, that had the same mobile with Oceanic Airlines Aeroplnes haning from it.

Yes blocke. I can’t remember which episode it is, but i think it’s the first one where we see Claires flashbacks. Claire keeps having nightmares/visions about being attacked by someone, just before Ethan kidnaps her and Charlie.

If this is true, and Im pretty sure it was an actual mobile over Aaron, is it possible that this could be our evidence toward an alternate timeline?
This is a good thought Block. Are you thinking parallell as the same concept as I am? Because you may be on to something bigger.

but just thought it was strange when I was re-watching the episode. After reading Jonaldos answer (haven’t had the time to check it out yet)I found it even more interesting, since that would mean that they took the time to put it in the show twice….But if this was a clue, then the sun/star could mean the Island and the planes could mean that there were several timelines going on at once, and the Island is some kind of nexus???
I don’t really have a concept yet
