i dont know about the stations being in different time frames. I mean radzinsky called the other stations to see if there was a plane crash…and jin didnt seem to question a time difference. in addition a dharma worker building the orchid scoffed at the idea of time travel, but if time travel was central to all stations. the top level dharmas might be keeping this info under wraps but i have a feeling its not true. thats my thoughts

The theory that Matt has posted here for us does not imply that the stations are actually in different timeframes from each other. It is proposing that their communications use time travel. There is evidence to support this.

The drop point for the notebook. We can assume that the Pearl has not been manned since the purge. Why are there so many canisters there that haven’t been picked up? Because they were sent into the future from a time before the purge to a time after the purge.

Also, remember when Radzinski called the other stations asking if they’d seen a plane they didn’t get back right away. It’s obvious from Radzinski’s reaction that seeing a plane fly over or, my God, land on the island, would be a pretty major event! So he gets on the radio and asks if anyone has seen one and they don’t all hop on the radio shouting “What!!!?! A plane!? Are you kidding?”… The communication from the flame may not have been received by the other stations until some time later.

Also makes me think about the numbers broadcast in Hurley’s voice heard when Danielle crashed on the island and again when 316 crashed…

Oh, and the radio broadcast they picked up with the oldies music… Sayid explained it away as radio signals bouncing off the ionosphere or one of those other things he says to trick people into thinking he’s smart…

The biggest thing for me in the last episode was the mention of Ann Arbor. Yeah they slipped it in. I have been waiting for this a long time. I look at how the DI is represented on the Island right now with Horace Goodspeed a weak leader shown so far. Could not handle Richard or Sayid for that matter. He allowed some Dude (Sawyer) to roll up on the Island and tell him a very weak lie and accepted it. Did not question everyone separately etc..etc..

Point is I think there is a big Eyeball on this Island that is really dictating the DI’s path. Now I imagine the Degroot’s and Hawking have something to do with this, Along with Hanso, Middlework and the rest. Like I say when I heard call Ann Arbor I about jumped put my chair. Finally.

This off Island activity can send messages in different places in time through Hydra or directly to stations on the Island. Possibly.lol
