Felix - What were you doing??
The mysterious Felix that Miles had to “read” in order to pass the test to be on the freighter crew played an interesting part of “Some Like it Hoth”
Miles said that “Felix was on his way to deliver a purchase order and photographs of empty graves to Charles Widmore”
So we have to assume that Felix was working for Widmore.
Last season, we saw Tom show Michael the empty grave photo and purchase order for the old airplane (when he was trying to convince him to join the freighter crew to work secretly for Ben). Tom & Ben have both made claims that it is Widmore who staged the conspiracy of the bodies and fake plane.
Captain Gault - The Kahana (freighter) captain - who seemed generally concerned for everyone’s well being and did not really have a goal in mind other then get to the island, told Sayid and Desmond that it was Ben who was responsible for the fake plane. He could of course has just been lied to by Charles Widmore, so Captain Gault could have been speaking under false pretenses.
I am going to assume that Tom is responsible for the death of Felix. Tom intercepted Felix on his way to deliver to message, stole the purchase order and pictures and used the to show Michael.
This still does not really prove anything. Widmore could have just had one of his couriers named Felix bringing him some pictures and his plane receipt, or he could have been getting information on what Ben has done to cover up the crash of 815.
Tom could have stolen the pictures and the plane receipt to stop Widmore from finding out about the details of the cover up (unlikely since Widmore definitely going to find out anyway) or he could have just stolen them to prove that Widmore set up the fake plane.
At this point it seems as though Widmore setup the fake plane and dug up the graves!

I don’t think either Ben or Widmore set up the fake plane. Each one thinks the other did it though. It was our mysterious third party.

So where do you think Felix got that information from that he was bringing to Widmore, and how did Tom know to intercept it??

Maybe Felix works for Widmore as a spy keeping tabs on “the third party” and he was bringing that information to Widmore. Tom intercepts him and kills him, taking the information. Widmore still gets the information through Miles and his audition.

But it said that there was paperwork on Widmores purchase of an old airplane, not that there was paperwork being taken to Widmore on an airplane purchase…either Widmore bought the plane, which makes sense, or someone bought the plane in Widmores name…

No, only that Ilana and Bram were not working for Widmore…actually, we only know for sure that its Bram. Ilana still hasnt come out of the Widmore closet…its just our assumption because he uses the same ‘code’…

The Purchase Order seems to say
To: Widmore Industries
If so, the question is was it w/Widmore’s knowledge or some 3rd party working within his company with buyer authority?
[After seeing Ben save Rousseau, I'm in the Ben's not such a bad guy and Whitmore is bad camp - open to 3rd party bad, too.]

Widmore staged the crash because he was going to kill all the survivors. I also tend to think that maybe we don’t really know his intentions because we have only heard them via Ben’s crew. However, maybe Widmore knew that the Losties are going to screw up the past, and so was going to obliterate everyone for the good of the island?
