The body looks like a male. The side view we barely get a glimpse of the statue itself the way the head and mouth look, but the piece of the tapestry Ilana found tacked to the wall of "Jacob's Cabin" with a knife, gives a better side view of the statue and it doesn't show a distended, pregnant female stomach and bosom. I don't think it's Sobek, either, because the snout part of the face doesn't look as tapered and slender as that of Sobek's Crocodile features. But kudos on the awesome picture. I decided it wasn't Tawaret, due to the man's kilt, but the male version, Min, is an unlikely contender, so you never know... Tawaret was one of the favourites mentioned. Considering the entire 'Egyptian' connection, I would not rule her out, but I think there are other references that tie in with the other mythology that might explain the statue as well.
