Who has seen the DI video where Dr. Marvin Candle admits he is Dr. Pierre Chang and that he survived the purge, inside!
Who has seen this video? After “Some Like it Hoth” this video seems to make a lot more sense.

Miles voice is in the background, he is filming the video saying that it won’t work!

He says they’re all dead but he means from the perspective of someone in the future who is watching the video. He also says that there will be a purge and that they are powerless to escape it.

In both the Swan station film and Flame station computer video, Dr. Chang has a prosthetic left arm, but in the Orchid, Pearl and the video above, he has two functional arms. So he must survive the purge he references, but lose the arm in the process and then appear in the Swan and Flame videos.

Who knows what we’re going to see? But none of those videos could have been made after the purge. The arm is confusing but it’s Lost, right? Maybe it’s cloned Changs or maybe it’s time travelling Changs…

So you think that Miles is going to tell his father EVERYTHING that is going to happen, and they are going to make that video and send it into the future to try and prevent it or to make sure that the DI is kept going.
This could explain Ilana and Bram, maybe they are part of the DI that recieved that message 30 years in the future.
The arm is still confusing to me as well.

I feel that the Video is Candle’s oh i mean Chang’s last one. The arm is confusing because if he has an Arm then doesnt hmm.
You might have something there maybe a mistake but I hope not.
I Also think its Faraday talking but it could & should be Miles, As for who is recieving this message via Internet somehow since that is maybe a clue since Chang mentions it could be Widmore or if 3rd party exist Llana & Bram.
In the video, after he yells at laura because of baby Miles crying, An its Miles who tells Laura “We have one chance at this” An not Pierre.
Maybe it MILES the whole time & maybe its Miles Recording his father an all the orientation video’s. Maybe Hurley tells Pierre thats what he does An that is the reason why he does it.
