  1. murphiavellia, I think this is an awesome post. I am a believer that the real Locke will ‘walk’ again, albeit not as himself.

I am attempting to refrain from placing any ‘biblical labels’ on Jacob and his Nemesis, in favour to referring to them as good vs.evil for the time being.

We know that Jacob has the ability to heal, but we have never seen the smoke monster heal anyone. The smoke monster does judge, however. I believe his judgement of Ben for killing Alex was legitimate.

If Ben has been anyone’s pawn, he has been Jacob’s pawn! As Ben has been the one person responsible for setting all of the wheels in motion, for this drama to play out! He did so, at Jacob’s request via, ‘Peter Pan Alpert’. Love the name! lol

One other point. If the Fake Locke, was the smoke monster, he would have used Locke’s dead body, as he has done so with others in the past. He wouldn’t have needed to duplicate Locke.

    Food for thought!

    Good work!

  2. murphiavellia, I received your response, but it hasn’t appeared yet on your post.

Perhaps, I should clarify my point on ‘the dead’ bodies used by the smoke monster.

Yes, physical human bodies decay and decompose! You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who disagreed with that statement!

However, what I am referring to is, the fact that the smoke monster has appeared as Yemi, Alex and other deceased characters on ‘the island’, in the physical guise of their former bodies.

Who is to say that the smoke monster is the only entity that has this ability.

Might that extend to Jacob and his Nemesis?

    Just a thought!

  3. Interesting. But assuming that Alpert is on Jacob’s side, why would Alpert take Ben to Jacob’s enemy?
