This could be totally ridiculous. Juliette is the smoke monster. We never do see smokie throughout the losties time in the 70's. The sonic fence is up but no one said because of smokie. We've seen smokie climb over buildings too I really doubt smokie would be stopped by sound. I mean she gets pulled into this cavern wrapped up in tons of metal(chain, drill, other falling debris). Then the bomb goes off in the middle of a huge electromagnetic force that actually contains the explosion fusing julliettes essence with the metal creating a floating snakelike being made of metal shavings and such....? yeah I know...far fetched. You just made me think of something. This could be totally ridiculous.
