Good point. It’s very strange to see Jack talk like they all died, metaphorically or not. He’s definitly contradicting the episode title as well. Very interesting choice of words for being there only 3 days, I’m with you on that.

This scene you have described above reminds me about another weird line Sawyer said in the first episodes (don’t know exactly which). Kate fell on him,he hugged her and said: “I’ve been waiting for three years for this to happen” or something like that. So we are always coming back to the three years issue here. Some say that actually season one was already a time loop and that somehow Jack or even Locke already knew things they were’t supposed to know about the island. I don’t know but what do you think?
