The Moirae

For those of you who have never heard of the Moirae please take a minute and check them out on Wikipedia – sorry for not explaining here, but I’m thumbing this away on my BB and it will save my thumbs some. Also, Wiki does a better job at explaining than I could. After reading please consider the following: in the first episode when a shot shows the trees going down in the forest doesn’t it appear as if they are being cut or sheared away? Doesn’t one of the Moira, Clothos, use shears to cut lives? Also, in the first episode doesn’t Jack have a elongated wound on his back which is as if had been cut by shears? Didn’t Jack awaken in the forest before running towards the beach? (which, btw, as has been mentioned before is strange that he ran and he knew which way to go to get to the Losties – this could imply that he was their before either as himself or that someone was possessing him, but that’s a whole other ball of wax, that is, unless someone cares to run with it.). Back to the wound – one could say that the wound was caused by cutting shears that were going through the forest and not by a piece of flight 815. Am I whacked, or does someone else possibly see what I may be seeing?

  1. I’m always amazed at what people come up with on these sites (myself included)… not sure where you got the Moirae from, but I read the Wiki write up and although a bit confusing, it does sound interesting and your take on that scene is one that I have yet to hear!
