Charlie, Jacob, MIB, Sayid Begin. of End

My memory says ‘Hurley’, but was watching the ‘lost again’ thing last night … 1st of season 4 where Charlie appears to Hurley at the mental institution and Charlie (very dapper in black) , though he calls him Hurley at 1st, at the end says, “they need you Hugo” in an extremely formal, demanding way (in fact, Charlie was super formal, not at all like his ‘regular’ old self around Hurley) … which got me wondering who was setting him up to go back and if he was met by both the Jacob (who met w/him just before he left the island and gave him that guitar case … wonder if it’s tied to Christian’s/Flock shoes)

Also, Sayid goes nutzo on Ben because he would remember every shovel of dirt used to bury his wife. Seemed a bit personal. Any ideas why?

    Saiyd said that b/c he had just buried Shannon. I actually just rewatched that episode. That’s how he knew Ben was ‘an other’.He said if you buried the woman u loved u would remember every shovel of dirt.

    Oh yeah, Shannon. I think I wanted to forget her annoying self. That Sayid gives his heart kinda’ fast … Also reminds me of my theory - don’t date anyone else on the island, and esp. don’t go on picnics w/them!

    The apparitions on the island all seem to be related to Smokey… but the off-island apparitions have never been remotely touched in terms of an explanation. This coming season is going to have to cover a ton of ground unless there is some kind of massive reveal that just explains away everything.
