WHY BRING LOCKE’S BODY BACK?

Was it the only way for them to return to the island? And why would Ilana and Bram tote it all the way to the shadow of the statue just to have a proper island burial? Also, why did Christian’s body disappear whereas Locke’s remained in the cargo hold?

    bc i don’t think Christian’s body is inhabited by smokey………. that’s the point

    I think bringing the body to the Fbody does something to the one inhabiting Fbody. At the very least it explses the Fbody for the fake it is.

    Don’t think it was ‘needed’ to return to the island, think it was needed to advance MIB’s plan, and perhaps as a proxy for something else.
