Ben stabbed him in in '07. Why wouldn't he still be around in '77 when 'cuz the bomb went off (in this timeline - he COULD have died when the island sank ... in the other timeline ... even though he has that 'how to get off the island' thing down. Wonder if he turned the wheel when we went to the losties or had another way off ... ) Why would Jacob be dead? Ben stabbed him in in ’07. The 815ers that landed are different than the ones that took off - right down to Charlie's hair. The 815ers seem even more miserable than when they got on ('cept Rose & Hurley). Because the island sunk, Jacob and MIB may be dead in their world. I'm not confident the '1977" island losties have anything different. Also - Jacob was killed AFTER the bomb went off ... He may not be dead in the 'alternate' 815 timeline ... AND if the bomb sunk the island, everyone on it would have drowned ... including Widmore, Ben, Alpert ... so there IS no Penny. Interesting are the things that didn't change or did change. Locke - he's paralyzed so he was still conned ... BUT, I thought Jacob's touch brought him back to life (I LOVED the sly line in the hr. show before w/Jacob sitting and John falling.) Shannon stayed w/boyfriend!?! Clare still going to LA to give the baby up when it seemed her 'psychic' was influenced to get her to LA. Agree/Disagree

The 2nd reality with them on the plane i think is the epilogue to the show. I think timeline 1 is going to end sometime this season and we are watching what happens after.
