When are they???
When Hurley encounters Jacob for the second time in the Jungle during the s6 premeire, Jacob tells Hurley he has just died an hour ago but what confuses me is when Kate says that they are at the hatch after Desmond blows it up which makes me believe that they time traveled to when the sky turned purple after Desmond turned the fail safe key.
Makes sense kind of because we see the “pocket of energy” go overload in 1977 which could of caused the time travel to when the pocket overloaded again Imploding the Hatch releasing its energy causing a wormhole so to speak to different times, 1977 to 2006, im guessing 06′ because I cant seem to find the year the Hatch imploded an thats my best guess.
When Jacob tells Hurley he just died an hour ago makes me believe that Kate, Sawyer, Jack, etc are back where they should be in what I think is 2007 with Sun & Fake Locke…soooo what time do you think they are in???? please help & thanks.

I don’t think Kate meant that its RIGHT AFTER Desmond blew it up, but what they know is that they were after the hatch blew up. I’m sure there would be fire and smoke still.
But, at the same time I think youre onto something lol. If Jacob is special when he’s dead in “whenever” he is, then Jacob saying he “died an hour ago” doesnt necessarily mean he died an hour ago in 2007. hmm..
Also note that sometime in Season 3, Hurley shot a flare up in the sky. Just sayin’….

Remember that before the Ajira flight crash landed on the island, it was night, then suddenly it was day. This means that Fake Locke and the Ajira survivors are NOT in 2007.

xactxx, during season 5 when we flashed between 1977 and 2007, it did say “30 years earlier/later” or something like that, didn’t it?
