After Lost?

What show are you going to get ‘lost’ in after Lost ends?
I don’t think fringe will make another season and I also hear that Flash Forward (such a balant rip off of Lost, to me anyway) is struggling to get viewership and may not make it another season (did
you know that the writers of that show wrote three seasons ahead of time (yeah right)) and BSG has ended, so there really is nothing left, while except TrueBlood (and I like the way the books play out better than the show itself). I guess there is always Dexter (no mystery really, it too is based on a book, but love the show).

Hi. I am an uber Lost fan. Admittedly, I jumped on the bandwagon a little late, halfway through the third season but thanks to the DVD's I am all caught up and do frequent re-watches. BTW my new image reflects my love/hate relationship with Lost. I always feel like I am on the verge of blowing up at the end of every episode because when I think I finally figured it out, nope the rug is pulled out.

  1. The local library has a huge collection of dvds. I have been exploring their television section and catching up on all kinds of stuff from dramas to science-fiction.

read Robert J. Sawyer’s “Flash Forward” several years ago and missed all last year’s season. Watching the summary kind of put me off. Their adaptation strays too far from the book for my taste.

    There’s always “V” ?

  2. Yeah, I agree with Dexter and True Blood. Amazing shows!

Other than that The Venture Brothers and The Big Bang Theory. But I must say that there’s no other show quite like Lost. Heroes seemed like that in its first season. I hope Lost sets a new standard of awesomeness on TV that producers will try to surpass, but I think we’ll stay surrounded by crappy reality shows mostly.

hey, Chief, good job on your theory BTW, V is supper silly, but is an ’80’s remake so what can you do but laugh, they should have remade Alien Nation, now that was awesome, kind of like the 9th district but coherrent and not diappointing
Have you checked out Caprica on Syfy, I got the pilot for free on itunes and it seems new and original and has a pretty good mythology behind it and mysterious and the writing is pretty good most of the time.

#3 – I love the Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother (every needs to laugh) but Lost was a show that made me think, even though I am uber geek (I luv Star Trek (TNG and DSN only), Stars Wars (the first set only), BSG (hands down in my top 5)and of course the mother of all awesome sci-fi and cgi Star Gate (the movie and the show) but I never, ever, ever went on an internet forum or Comic-Con for any of them, Lost has engaged us in all media formats and for two summers kept me from going crazy during the haitus, so I think I might go crazy after May 23, 2010 or we could all just start a ‘I Misss Lost’ fan club and bitch about the ending and the unaswered questions until we die

  4. I did give Harpers island a go and it was very good … Lots of people die 🙂 as a lost fan you must enjoy a bit of death now and then 😉 but they only made one season (not because it didnt do well but because they physically cant)

The vampire diaries is pretty good but other than that then it looks like good ol’ One Tree Hill and Glee
