Jacob seemed a bit surprised MIB tried to get him killed. Perhaps he couldn’t until the statue fell, because Tareret was protecting Jacob AND evil was less restrained. (What was it made of, anyway? Seems Rock smashes Boat. I bet if we check the pieces we’ll see ‘Made in China’ stamped somewhere.)

Is this on a spoiler site!?! Cool! I don’t go there. Just guessin’. (Actually, I went to Wiki to see if she had any kids. The two ankhs separated by her seemed to mean something. Oddly, for a protector of children-fertility goddess thingy, I can’t see she had any.)
