Reading Joe’s post, he mentioned about how we will more than likely not ever find out why Ilana was in bandages when Jacob made a visit.
I wonder if Ilana was recovering from an event that was similar to Juliet trying to detonate mini-Jug. I mean Juliet was fairly injured, she told Sawyer, via Miles, that it worked. What if upon detonation she was transported to an exit point, a la Tunisia and Ben and Locke, and “rescued?” I can imagine an injured Ilana appearing in a far off land and being taken to a hospital to recover.
And no, I am not being serious about Juliet becoming a mummy. I meant perhaps we will soon see her wrapped in bandages in a bed, being paid a visit.

Haha, your title was quite misleading.
Anyway, that’s a very plausible thought, and a good explanation if they want to bring Juliet back to the regular timeline.
Though I would enjoy Sawyer being reunited with his unexpected love, I usually abhor any show that refuses to kill major characters. (Think: Heroes) At some point you don’t feel the suspense because you know no one can truly die! If they bring back Juliet to the regular timeline, I’ll feel it was a cop out.

Perhaps it will end with Pamela waking up.

Sorry, but who is Pamela?

I’m thinking of Pamela in the 80s TV series Dallas. Bobby Ewing died at one point. Then, ages later, his wife Pamela woke up and found Bobby alive in the shower. Apparently Pamela had dreamt up a couple of seasons of the show, including scenes with people she didn’t even know.
I was just thinking of the comments above about how the main characters in some shows can never die.

Gotcha. Now that is a weird ass word. I am high but gotcha is looking odd. Did I spell it right?
Anyway, thanks for the clarification. I missed Dallas, as you can tell from my AV, I am rather young.
No, but I bet when Juilet was down in that hole, somehow she was transported to an exit point, severely injured from the earlier fall/blast(?), and ended up waking up bandaged in the hospital. Maybe we’ll even see a bedside conversation with Jacob and Juliet.
And if you thought I was serious about my age above, I am not. But I was slightly too young to watch Dallas, like I think I was around eight at the time.

Ok, so you’ll stand for the high kid theories and I’ll stand for the old fart theories.
