I am finding this theory under the assumption that Jacob isn’t a complete moron. What MIB has done to him, he’ll do to the next one as he made clear. So He’s just gonna make it as hard as possible to do that one of two ways. Multiple people in line to take his spot, or he picks a group to take over. One that has lived together and made the right choices so they wouldn’t die alone.
