Thanks for the kind words A.E.S. Yes, it was a mobisode… I haven’t seen that one in a while, but “my son” gives even more credence to the fact Christian was NOT Smlocke UNLESS they really fake us all out and make Smlocke a good guy, or Christian a bad guy.
Then again, the mobisodes and cut scenes can’t be considered as gospel, but I’m giving them some weight.

I have to say, I cannot deny that for some reason this is my favorite one of your posts here…I usually enjoy them all…but this one was especially good.

I also thank you for your constant optimistic approach on the show. Thats something I can really appreciate right now.

I have an idea on how the whole Christian thing makes sense…Im putting some finishing touches on now…

On the talk about Jack…you refer to the mobisode “Lost Missing Pieces: So It Begins”…and to further your thought, I have to add one important correction that is used to almost solidify your theory…He doesnt tell Vincent to wake up “Jack”…he tells him to wake up “my son”.

I definitely agree that Christian’s body is also used by Jacob or is somehow a third separate ghosty and we are supposed to question that b/c there’s no way MIB was on the freighter or with Jack in the hospital. Could Jacob/MIB be some sort of Fight Club Tyler Durden dual personality business, Jekyll/Hyde, Id/Ego, etc? I hope not.

There were a number of Star Wars refs in the ep and my review, the Star Trek one is a loose one, but it’s “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few…. I paraphrased it.

Thanks Joe I am already getting depressed about not having LOST and your blog to look forward to each week. I am with you in feeling that Smlocke was lying about appearing as Christian at that point. I feel certain that there is a regular ol’ Christian ghost AND a Christian avatar operated by Smokey.

Joe O, you are SO funny. I will miss this LOST family once it is over! Did you happen to notice when Kate and Sawyer were walking through the jungle and he totally smacked her with a fern/tree frond? Hilarious.
