		<description>Not to split hairs or anything of the sort, but I really think Desmond is special not because he spent 3 years pushing the button but because he turned the fail-safe key and was at ground zero when the discharge occurred.

That being said, Kelvin and Radzinsky were not special in the way that Desmond was, because pushing the button isn&#039;t why Desmond is special. Turning the fail-safe key can make one special in this sense, and only one person has done that; Desmond.</description>
