Hey guys and gals! How are we all doing? It’s been a long time since I last posted here, but wanted to share something with you that I read a couple of days ago about the potential for a LOST revival.
A post I saw at Nerdist discusses the possibility of there being a LOST revival at some point in the future.
They mention three different types of story that could be told LOST were to come back:
One: “A full reboot that would jettison everything from the first series, save perhaps for the island and some of the mythology.”
Two: “A revival with the surviving characters, but it would be hard to pull off since the cast has long since moved on.”
Three: “The most enticing choice would be a sequel series that would focus on new characters on the island while allowing some of the older characters to potentially reprise their roles as well.”
What do you think? I love the idea of a sequel series bringing in a whole new cast but with the potential of old favourites returning (Ben, Desmond, Hurley etc.). It would be a great opportunity to tie up some of the mysteries that remain unsolved whilst unraveling new mysteries that we could sink our teeth in to! As long as they do it right, I think it could be great!
I remember when LOST ended there were fans discussing the potential of some spin off shows: Ben and Hurley on the Island, The Dharma Initiative etc. which at the time would have been great, but I think now a sequel series would be more appropriate.
I have no idea if there will be a LOST revival in the future but knowing that it’s being talked is promising!
What do you think? Do you think a LOST revival is a good idea, or do you think it should be left well alone? 🙂

Hi everyone! So, it’s been a while since I posted here 🙂 I had an email last week from my webhost telling me the site had been hacked, and unfortunately I didn’t have a recent back up of the look of the website, so I’ve had to give the site a bit of a makeover. A lot of the features the site had are also gone, but I will look at re-adding them over the course of the next few months. I realise not a lot of people visit anymore, but I’d still like to maintain the site and keep it user friendly for anyone who does want to come by and leave a post! 🙂
Hope you’re all well! Namaste! x

Hello everyone! Just to let you know that the site is now back up and running after a short haitus (due to being hacked!).
The site has now been updated and is more secure. You will notice some changes in the way the “Write a Theory” page looks but everything else is pretty much the same.
Also, you can now Register to the site! It’s been so long since registration has been open (due to being hacked a long time ago) but registration is now more secure, so we can get some new Lost fans to join and hopefully join in the discussions 🙂
If you come accross any problems please let me know!

Thank you to everyone who still visits, and who still contributes to the site (you know who you are). It’s been 15 months since the finale and I’m still stunned by the amount of visitors this site still gets. You rock!
I had an idea though, something to maybe get the site more active. Does anyone fancy doing a Lost re-watch?
Starting from 22nd September watching one episode a week, then coming to the site to discuss the episode, maybe figure out details we’ve missed etc. We’d have a short break between each season, and over holiday periods etc.
What do you think? Is anyone up for that? I know the finale left some people dissapointed (myself included), but everything up until that point was amazing. Even though after the finale I thought I’d never watch it again, I can’t help but miss it.
If you’re interested, leave a comment 🙂

I know some of you are watching The Event, and I’ve recently seen the first 4 episodes and think it’s really good. It hasn’t got me hooked in the same way as I was when I first saw The Pilot of LOST – however, I do look forward to seeing what’s going to happen next.
And really, this show shouldn’t be compared with Lost. It’s a completely different show. Sure, it poses questions, but it’s a completely different story to what was Lost.
With that though, I think it could conjur up many theories, and so I have created a site called theoriesontheevent.com – you may recognise the layout and colour scheme (I think I got lazy).
So, if you’ve been watching The Event and have theories, questions etc. be sure to register 🙂

As suggested by wolfx I’ve decided to extend October 2010’s Theory contest til the end of November, so it’ll be the Oct/Nov 2010 Theory contest.
I hope this is ok with everyone. Let me know if you have any ideas for future contests 🙂

Hey everyone! Here is the subject for this months theory contest. As it’s the month of Halloween I thought I’d come up with a subject that is kinda “spooky” (at least it seemed that way when we were first introduced to it!). Yup, I’m talking about “The Cabin”. (This was also suggested by shephards_flocke last month) 🙂
So, basically, explain the whole story behind the cabin. Who was there the first time Locke and Ben went there? Why/how does it move? Who’s eye did Hurley see? What’s with the ash ring? Is it protecting the outside or inside etc. etc. Loads of things happened with this cabin but when trying to fit the pieces together with what we know about Jacob and MIB, it just doesn’t all add up.
So you have to come up with a theory that explains most of its mystery and tie it all together.
– Enjoy! xx

Hey everyone! Welcome to the first theory contest! Let’s see how this goes 🙂
So, as it’s September, I thought it would be a good idea to have this months contest be about The Pilot. It’s been nearly 6 whole years since The Pilot and I don’t think we ever got a reasonable answer as to why the pilot of Oceanic 815 was killed by the monster.
Was he a candidate? Was “Smokey” expecting it to be Frank? Was “Smokey” just in a bad mood that day?
Post your theories in the normal way but please make a note in the title or the post itself that it’s a contest entry, and then post a link to it in the comments section of this post 🙂
Have fun! I’m going to enjoy reading your theories!

It’s been a while since I last posted anything here. I’m really pleased that some of you still take the time to post stuff here even after Lost has ended 🙂
I wanted to get your opinion on something. I was thinking that every month we could have a Theory Contest where I select a mystery that was unexplained on the show, and you have to submit a theory to explain it. Then at the end of the month there’s a vote on which theory is the best. Obviously, I’m unable to give away real prizes, it’s more just for fun and a way to keep the site more active.
I know most of you probably don’t want to think about Lost now that it’s over, but I know some of you may enjoy the idea. So, let me know what you think, if you’d be willing to join in etc. If it’s a bad idea feel free to let me know 🙂

Just to let you know that after recent feedback, I have created a forum-based site for you to talk about your favourite TV Shows. If I’ve missed any off please let me know.
Hope you enjoy x

This is just a general question about whether or not I should create a site for another show now that Lost is over. Would anyone be interested if I did? What show would you like it to be about?
I know a few people mentioned that if I did a site for Fringe they’d be interested, and I love Fringe so I’d have no problem doing that, but I just wanted to get an idea of who might be interested etc.
Suggest any show… I may create a site that is a combination of shows. I just want to get an idea before I go ahead and do something 🙂
Also, Alternate Lost Endings has a few posts up now so be sure to check them out if you like Lost Fan Fiction.

I have been working on a website lately for people to read and write their own “Alternate Lost Endings”. Basically it’s a Fan Fiction site with a difference, in that it’s mainly for writing your own end to Lost. This could be either the whole of season 6, or just the last ten minutes of The End. You could also write something Post Season 6, like Ben and Hurley’s adventures on the island, or what happened to Kate and Claire when they landed etc.
I know this may not be for everyone, but I thought if the site gets some Fan Fiction on there then you may be interested in reading it.
The site is at www.alternatelostendings.com
PS. Thanks to all who are still participating here, you’re all fab x

So I woke up this morning to an email from my webhost telling that there was a huge spike in traffic to the website so they took it down for a while. I apologise to anyone who tried to come online to discuss the finale and got a blank page.
I expected loads of traffic, I didn’t expect my host to take down the site. The good thing is is they’ve done something to the site to make it load faster, so I’m hoping that will make up for the site being down.
Again, I apologise for the downtime, and hope you can share your thoughts the next time you visit 🙂
PS. I haven’t seen the finale yet – In about 12 hours I’ll be settling down to watch it. I hope it was good. 🙂

Are you all set for tonight? Have you got anything special planned? Whatever you’re up to, I hope you enjoy The Finale and hope it lives up to everyone’s expectations. Whatever happens, I’m sure we will all enjoy the twists and turns The Finale will bring.
I just want to say a BIG Thank You to everyone who has contributed to this website. This site wouldn’t be the same without each and every one of you, and although I don’t post often, I do read a lot of your theories and ideas and I think you’re all fantastic.
I was a member of Lost-Theories.com and it made me enjoy Lost even more having a community to discuss ideas with. Unfortunately, that site was taken down so I was inspired to create an alternative. This site became popular quite quickly and it was overwhelming, but I can honestly say it’s been an honour to host and I’m glad so many of you chose this place to sign up to and contribute to. Without you this site wouldn’t be what it is today.
Now that Lost is coming to an end I felt I had to say something before the big Finale, just so you know how much I appreciate you all being here. THANK YOU.
I’d also like to say that I am quite sad yet excited about the Lost Finale. It will be strange that after tonights episode there’ll be no more new episodes to look forward to.
I still remember the feeling I got after watching The Pilot and Charlie’s “Where are we?” – I couldn’t wait for the next episode. The Season One finale was probably one of the best finale’s EVER and Season Two just couldn’t come quick enough. Did anyone have any idea that there’d be a Scottish guy called Desmond pushing a button every 108 minutes to save the world? It certainly wasn’t something I was expecting. That’s the beauty of Lost – the mysteries, the shock moments; and even though the events of the show are unbelievable, it’s that unbelievabilty that makes it real.
You will only get to watch the Finale for the first time once, so be sure to enjoy it and take it all in. And have those tissues ready. I know I will.

I’ve been to the site a couple of times today and each time it hasn’t loaded properly and I’m just wondering whether anyone else is having the same problem?
