Jacob is Horace

Alot of people have said that Jacob is Locke, Jack or Christian but I don’t think I’ve ever read anywhere that Jacob is Horace.

So here’s what I think:

Horace is Jacob and when Locke saw him building the cabin he was building it for himself.

Ben knows that Jacob is Horace but hasn’t told anyone. Horace doesn’t use Jacob as a name, it’s a name that Ben made up to fool everyone. There is no such person as Jacob, it is just simply Horace.

Horace needs Lockes help and so tells Christian to tell Locke to move the island. Moving the island will reset the time and Horace will be free again. He will change history and make Ben suffer for locking him up in the cabin.

  1. Until proven wrong, I’m going down with the

“I THINK JACOB IS JACOB” mindset. I don’t think he/she/it is a character that we know. I actually think he’s from the future stuck on the island all by himself…but I don’t really know that….I just think he’s jacob 🙂

  2. Horace? I dont think it would be him, if its going to be someone we know it’ll be someone we immiediately recognise for that wow factor. I don’t think horace would be immiediately recognised by the majority of people who watch lost.

  3. I know this is an old post, but I don’t know why no one pointed out that HORACE IS DEAD in 2003 when Locke goes to meet Jacob. Doesn’t he pull the map or whatever it was out of the pocket of Horace’s body in the mass grave? Sorry to say, but I’m pretty sure Ben kills Horace during the purge..

  4. Different, but I think that if Horace was such an important character like that, we would get to know him a little better. But good theory 🙂
