Something I noticed
Did anyone notice that when Sawyer went to appologize to Charlotte in the Sideways time, he showed up with a single sunflower a la how he did for Juliet in ‘The Incident’ (you know the day before the 06 showed up (which was probably the day he was going to propose)) and a 6 pack?
Also he when he was watching that scence from Little House, Michael Landon was saying was almost like the writers talking directly to us the biewers about sitting back and enjoying the ride (or maybe that was just me but it also be a reference to when he was talking about how he watched the show as a little kid when he was sick.
Oh yeah, and all the books (with the glaring exclusion, Of Men and Mice) that have come to be synomous(sp?) with Sawyer are right there on his dresser (Watership Down, A Wrinkle in Time and Lancelot).
Also Miles had a cool line: Do you want to die alone?
A little side note: has anyone noticed that Miles Straume sounds a lot like maelstrom?

Of course we noticed the sunflower. It’s your other observations that make this thread worth reading. 🙂
God, I really wish I knew the importance of these sideways flashes. I feel like I’m the only one that rolls his eyes every time we hear that plane sound segwaying into the sideways flash.
Cocoadoll – some pretty good catches. I like the “maelstrom” thing. I figured the scene Swayer was watching was really for him more than anything. He’s so consumed with finding Anthony Cooper that he basically wastes his life trying.
Chief – why do I feel like I’m Miles and you’re Sawyer when I say that, haha – you’re not alone. When I rewatch Lost I always skip the FSW parts.
#2 – No chief, yo uare not alone, I hate the flash sideways as well but what are you going to do? The writers need some filler since I think the perfect way to have ended this show was way back in season 3 when Jack was playing catch with that football in Dharmaville with the others, no answers, no mysteries solved, just a lot of speculation a la ‘The Prisoner’.
