This is probably the shortest post I ever created…

Does everyone still think that the FSW is the happy ending? (or even ending in general?)

Abbot Enheduanna Schwarzschild Name meaning: -Abbot: Father defined by or in religious connotation/definition. From the beginning, Lost was riddled with religious tone and it was obvious it would play some sort of role. Seemed fitting to start here. -Enheduanna: Mesopotamian High Priestess and the modern civilization’s first recorded poet. I created the name after season 1. John explaining backgammon history to Walt spawned the idea that the island may have a link yo the beginning of civilization and maybe even time itself. It was “poetic” and important to add this to my pseudonym. I needed the mother of poetry in modern civilization to match the religious “Father” in my first name. -Schwarzschild: Reference to Karl Schwarzschild and Schwarzschild Black Holes. Smoke monsters, hatches, and curing paralysis doesn’t point to black holes…but the sci-fi elements ran deep and obvious. The wheel moving the island and transporting Ben felt like it got plucked from my imagination. A.E.S.

  1. I don’t think it is the ending. I think we are seeing a split in time caused by a nuclear bomb and the 2 timelines are starting to merge and course correct through the losties memories…or not

  2. I think it is a partial happy ending.

I think all the time they have spent there was to save themselves from having to show us what happens after Jack kills MIB and sinks the island.

I think in the final minutes of Lost he will be faced with a decision to destroy everything he knows in order to “fix” everything. He will destroy the island himself by going into the light. The ultimate leap of faith. He will then wake up on flight 815 when Cindy offers him some Vodka and become aware that all their lives are better. He will glance around at his fellow passengers and see Boone and Shannon holding hands, or Sayid and Nadia kissing. Maybe Christian will be sitting next to him, or Claire, as a true signal that this is a new Alt. Maybe Locke will walk past him, returning to his seat. Whatever.

I think this new Alt will be the real happy ending.

  3. I have mixed thoughts on this, I have never settled with any one theory regarding the FSW but I finally have some thoughts after the latest episode.. grr.. I’m actually very Lost-laxed and am one of those happy with the infamous Lost unanswered questions but the FSW is the only thing that bugs me! Ok I’m gonna have to come back….

  4. Achalli…I simply didnt expect you to say that…thanks for raining on my parade…

    Yes it is…

I get what Des is trying to show everyone…

But what EXACTLY is Des trying to show everyone?

Does he just want them to remember for the sake of remembering?

Will it help Jack kill MIB?

Will it revive John Locke on the island in some way?

Is he trying to kill everyone off island…get them all together…?

They talked so much over the years about everyone having to be together…Eloise Hawking in particular, in regards to returning to the island.

Is the music some sort of key…we have three musicians off island, Faraday, David, and Charlie…and if you want to count them, Jack and Ben played a little piano themselves in the past…

Music is a large part of many mythological stories, I cant help but think of Apollo and Dionysis…stupid candy bars wont let me stop thinking about him…maybe Ill write a post in all caps about how ridiculous it is for them to have presented that idea to me, and then never give me an answer…

Seriously though…what is it he is doing?

You can obviously trying to help them remember, but its just as obvious that they all dont have to be together to actually remember.

Is it one big effort to save Jack and John?

Why cant he just do the same to them that he does to everyone else…make them love someone, hit them with a car, or punch them in the face?
