White light above bodyguard?
I watched the season premier again and noticed that when Jacob’s bodyguard had surrounded himself with the black powder to protect himself from smokey, there was a bright stream of light that shown down to the top of his head. Anyone else notice this? What do you make of it?
oh yes i had TOTALLY forgotten about this! I have no idea what it might be but its awesome, kinda reminds me of sookie stackhouse(true blood) has a big beam of light for good kinda thing.
There’s a hole in the roof of where Jacob has been living. The same light is there when Flocke is talking to Ben about Johns memories.
When he’s sat forward he’s in the light but when he sits back he’s in the dark
Is it a bright light or is more like a blinding light. It’s been too long since I’ve seen the premiere.. so I cant quite remember.
If it’s a blinding light.. then there’s a pattern to some of this. Upon rewatching all of the LOST seasons, I noticed that when the Smoke Monster comes around.. certain people receive a blinding white light. John said he saw a bright light, we saw the light when Juliet was blinded (she was handcuffed to Kate), Keamy said he saw a bright light, and now this guard is blinded.
I have little to no idea what the significance is, but it’s strange that only some people see this light.
It’s not a bright light, it’s barely noticeable. It’s more like a “beam me up Scotty” light, a protection I think. It’s different than what Locke was sitting back and forth in, but that was weird too. The beam wasn’t there, and then it was. And then Smokey knocked the rocked onto him and he fell out of the circle of protection.
