Characters to life

This idea may be a little wild but I think I have figured out how many of the lost characters got their names.  The first one is Daniel Faraday.  I believe he was named after a man name Michael Faraday.  Michael Faraday, FRS (22 September 1791 — 25 August 1867) was an English chemist and physicist (or natural philosopher, in the terminology of the time) who contributed to the fields of electromagnetism and electrochemistry.  Daniel Faraday in lost was a genious and this man Michael Faraday studied electromagnetism which was the reason the Darma Inititaive came to the island.  Another character John Locke I believe was named after the famous philosopher John Locke who was an English philosopher and physician regarded as one of the most influential of Enlightenment thinkers.  This could possibly relate to how John Locke was a smart character in lost and always relayed his opinion on the certain situation and seemed to have a solution to all problems.  Anyone found any more rlations between real world people and these fictional lost characters.

  1. There are a lot of characters in LOST that were related to real life people. Charlotte Lewis, Desmun Hume, Richard Alpert are a few. If not just in name but sometimes in character likeness as well. Most real people were some form of great thinker. I believe these character builds have been a known fact for awhile now. But great observation!
