What Happened Happened!
I don’t understand why there is debate about if Juliet setting off Jughead is going to change anything (ie. the Losties landing at LAX). If this was the Losties first time living these events then how would Eloise know that she killed her son in the 50’s. The episode “The Variable” is all about Eloise pushing Daniel towards his destiny and her killing him. I don’t presume to know where the Losties will end up but I think the writers have been pretty clear that nothing they have done (up to this point any way) will change anything.
I have to agree. They won’t end up in LAX. Nothing will change because of the time travel.
hey holtamania, i really have no idea what is gona happen or where our losties will end up after the incident? i honestly havnt got a clue? cant wait to find out though? roll on season 6 thats what i say. eko rocks
The assumption is that what happens to DANIEL doesn’t change – but in the big scheme of things, he’s irrelevant. The island would just correct itself. Consider
The 1st time Eloise didn’t know, but 2nd tme around:
1) She pushes him to music and he ends up on the island with some genius who takes notes, Ellie kills him and we never see Daniel again – but she has access to the notebook and gets involved hoping she will see her dear son again.
2) She pushes him to physics because she knows something of the greater good (which is what I think she did in the first place … think back on her conversation w/Charles. She made it sound like a sacrifice rather than ‘at least he’ll get well).
