What’s up w/Helen&Ben?
What would have changed to have those two back together? She dumped him because he was obsessed w/’his dad’. Since he’s paralyzed, do we assume ‘his dad’ still had something to do with it – or was it his destiny to be paralyzed regardless how it happened?
Ben. If he was on island when it sank, why isn’t he dead? What ‘happened’ that had him go from Dharma hater to (creepy) teacher. [Anyone have a ‘Ben’ for a teacher?]
And, why does Locke only get crappy jobs? Isn’t he a genius, almost on the level of Sayid?
Finally – Miles. Would his dad have evacuated the island w/o Faraday going back in time … has this happened many a time before?
My thoughts are that John and his dad actually have a decent relationship this time around. I believe John’s paralysis is for other reasons. Helen mentioned that she and John should just have a simple wedding ceremony with her parents and with John’s dad. If John hated his father.. there wouldn’t be a wedding invite.. correct? So much more has changed than we realise. ((Side note.. Locke isn’t that intelligent.. really!))
Secondly, Ben, Miles, and Ethan being off-island means that something is definitely up with the island – but they all got off before it ‘sank’ for lack of a better term or better understanding.
If Dr Chang evacuated all children, perhaps this also included Ben? We know that it doesn’t take many minutes to heal someone.

I didn’t catch the mention of Johns dad coming to the wedding, it seems alot is different in this alt timeline.
Also i just thought, maybe the purge never happened, and all the Dharma people also got off the island.
What I was wonderin’ was …
Chang only evacuates ‘cuz Faraday told him to and Miles is his son.
That couldn’t have happened the first time around.
So, why was Mile’s mom such a … hmmm … something that rhymes w/’rich’ when it came to his dad when he clearly loved baby Miles and his wife and wouldn’t have kicked ’em off the 1st time around.
Is Walt the kid that Locke stopped to ask where the teacher’s lunchroom is?
and wouldnt ben still be off being temple boy with the others? or did that not happen cause the plane didnt creash, and if so how did it happen the time before the time when the plane crashed CRIKEY im lost lol
