Jae Lee’s American Woman — Probably a Moot Point, but Help Me Out

Did you ever wonder if the writers would try to name the American woman who was with Jae Lee (the guy Sun had an affair with)? I just assume they left that open in case later on they wanted to connect him to one of the American women who figure more prominently in the show (and have another pre-Island connection), but ended up leaving the idea behind– along with a bunch of other stuff!
If I had to bet, I’d say they could easily connect him to Libby. She was from Newport Beach (and probably from money as well), I wouldn’t be surprised if she got her degree at Harvard and met Jae Lee that way.
(I personally think it’s not that important, and that they won’t bring it up ever again, but I just came across his character again when trying to refresh my mind on Sun’s life on Lostpedia. Just thought it’d be interesting to see other people’s thoughts. 🙂 )
