Michael and the ghosts and Illana goes Boom

Do you think that Michael is lying to Hurley?  Wouldn’t you think that since the ghosts are also “trapped” on the island and are just looking to move on that they essentially have the same goals as MIB?  When do we hear a bulk of whispers?  Is it before an MIB attack?  Are they trying to warn people or do they follow with him?  He does seem to be able to take shapes, at least he used to be able to.

Also, does Jacob allow the dynamite to go off and allow Illana to go BOOM because he didn’t want them blowing up the plane and thought she was  I think that is very possible.  She was pretty reckless with that satchel though.  Geez.
