the DI must’ve known a lot about the island
first off, how did the DI find the island in the first place? second, how did they know where some of the secrets of the island are (the magnetic forcefield, the wheel under the one station–sorry, i forget what is was called–and the secret passageway in Ben’s house…the DI must’ve built it like that and put that passageway in.)
Hawking said at the light post or whatever that place is called. That someone very smart found the Island after much research or something along those lines. Some believe she speaks of Faraday. Enter the Degroots. Hanso and Mittlework.
