I definitely think that the lost mythology will tie in with the Ancient Egyptians. Does anyone remember that giant foot that seems to be the remains of a giant statue? Well we get a glimpse of that statue from afar when Sawyer, Locke, Juliet and gang are stuck in the time travel frenzy. So did that statue not look like a Cynocephaly God (Egyptian God with Dog-like-head)? To me it sure did, and to back up this theory; When Ben is in the temple being “judged”, what do we see engraved onto the stone that the monster comes out of? Yes, that’s right, a picture of a Cynocephaly God.
