TIME TRAVEL THEORY
I have been reading endless posts saying “why dosnt danielle remeber jin” and “Why dosnt desmond remeber daniel”.” why didnt ben remeber sayid shooting him”
To me its like this, desmond didnt remeber daniel because he didnt have the knowledge of it happening because it didnt happen yet, people seem to think that because it happened in desmonds past he would of remebered in 2004/5, for daniel it was his present and by him doing that it gave desmond the knowledge of it happening, say time stoped moving and daniel went away and came back and saw desmond again he would of gone “you banged on my door all them years ago”. but time moved and because daniel acted in his present desmond then woke up and it was a memory that you just remeber,
Ben who claims to remeber that the temple was where he was healed even though richard said he would forget all of it made me think that he now knows sayid shot him, he didnt remeber when he was captured because for sayid he didnt do it yet.

i always thought ben knew. i feel like there is memory loss associated with time travel. when desmond turns the fail safe key and goes back to his past. he seems to start forgetting things but then getting “flashes” of the future (like when he is in widmores building and the delivery man says the package is FOR 815 and desmond kind of remembers entering numbers. perhaps that explains that stuff. Danielle not remembering jin i have absolutely no idea about
remember Dan tries to remember 3 face cards, with Charlotte, and can only remember 2? Memory loss def plays a part.
oh yes! i do remember, thanks for refreshing my memory. maybe dan put his consciousness into the future and thats why he knows what he does.
I think there’s less to it.Remember des on the boat in season four, when he was appapently freaking out.”I DON’T KNOW YOU”,I DON’T KNOW YOU” he kept saying.Remember naomi had a photo of des when she arrived.Des automatically thought the boat was for him.Naomi was killed by a survivor,and des was just covering his own arse on the boat by denying he knew any of the survivors.So,as it turns out,des really is a coward,he only thinks of himself.He don’t REALLY know anybody,not really.I don’t believe that any of these chatacters want to be friendly to each other.After all they were just thrown together, this way or that.Why should people be honest with each other,their practically all strangers.lots of lies are being told thick and fast.We all know faraday is a constant liar.And des,all the lies he told charlie to con him into killing himself.Des is a rotten selfish coward,so is ben and so is faraday.
Just because we hadn’t seen it yet, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen yet. I think daniel changed the past when he talked to Desmond at the hatch. Why Desmond remembered it suddenly in 2007, I don’t know.
I don’t think Des tricked charlie into killing himself. mainly because of the fact that he kept doing what charlie was going to do, to save his life. Faraday seemed quite selfless to Charlotte and when he told them to bury the Jughead bomb, he walked up to a big bomb to help someone with a gun aimed at him.
Ben killed his daughter, he is a rotten selfish coward.
