In lost the time travel aspect of the show gets me very confused, I was wondering Is there actually different itterations of time with

i personally think most of the losties that are still alive have been there a multitude of times.i also think when the plane crashed christian was already there.i think he’d been to the island before and switched with a future version of himself and thats the version of him that died.i also think he met locke straight away and he and locke have been switching people all this time.
had you noticed the so called coincidence with hugo’s lottery numbers and the presence of them on the island.theres more to that than meets the eye.
in the end we will see everyone go back to the day of the crash.jack will go and lay down in the forest,rose will lay on the beach,bernard will assume his possition in the tree and the rest will be in the water.i think because they travel back is the reason all their other versions of themselves die in the crash apart from i think claire and maybe john locke.so theres a reason for going back right there.true im just making this up,but its loosely based on what ive seen and heard here and there on the show.
in relation to hugo and the numbers,i think his dad visited the island when he left his family whe hugo was a small boy.his dad used the time machine to get the winning numbers then gave them to hugo to play them on the lottery every week.it makes sence because there wouldnt be any point writing a story line where hugo won all that money with the same numbers that are on the island.the fact that there is a time machine pushed me into assuming this obvious event
Okay what you need to realize is there is a personal time line and an overall timeline.
The overall timeline being:
In 1970 – the bomb was moved and possibly caused the incident
2000 – plane crashes.
However those that went back in time crashed on the island and then went back in time.
If Jack and the others do something in 1970 it will effect something in 2000 HOWEVER to Jack and the others 1970 is the present. They are living it at that point.
