Jacob’s tapestry

Did anyone notice on Jacob’s tapestry (http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/File:5x16_Jacob’s_tapestry_other_views.jpg) there is a winged Egyptian symbol at the top which is reaching down and touching people below. Could this be Flight 816 and the survivors touching the people below? If an ancient Egyptian race once lived on the island and they saw a plane flying over they would interpret it as a sign from the Gods.

What if we turn it around and say that flight 816 wasn’t actually destined to crash on the island and the detonation of the bomb is to actually course correct and set things back to how they should be? Just a thought. 2010 is so far away.

  1. crashing on the island saved rose.if ,when all this comes to an end it happens again, it will be for a perfectly good reason as far as the survivors are concerned.

  2. You made a big point. But there is still the one big question. What happened to the people who lived there many years ago? Were they punished by their god, or sent away. We all know that smoke monster is protecting something. What is it protecting. What is in the temple. Who the hell is Jacob? Why was he shown as Osiris. And why did he live in the statue which he claims that he build it by himself.
