Why did the doc wash up on shore when he did?

I’ve been askin myself about a scene from season 4 and cant figure it out.   Yes i do understand that the perception of time on the island is diffrent then that of the time off of it.  I do not understand why the doctor from the frieghter had washed up on the island with his throat slit before it actully happened to him.  While trying to figure this out I thought about when Daniel was doing his little experiment with the payload. Howevewr the payload arived at its location after it was supposed to, which would leave me to belive there was a minor time delay, but when the doc washed up on shore before he was killed on the frieghter it would lead me to belive the island is seeing a glimpse of the future…. Anyway this is jus somthing i cant quite figure out .  Can anyone explain this for me?

  1. thats a good thought. this scene means that the island was ahead of time when compared with the rest of the world.

im very sure that because of this scene, there may be reason to believe of an alternate timeline and maybe the possibility of changing ‘whatever happened, happened’. in my head i can’t think how and why because its very late at the moment but ill need to give this some more thought when i feel more awake!

a very interesting topic of discussion.
