Claire is dead. At least in the current reality.
My reasoning for this is, Charlie and Claire were next to each other when the lightning first struck. Claire would have died too.
I know you guys are saying well Claire may have survived it with Charlie taking the brunt of the bolt. But there is evidence that she would have died in that bolt. In episode 3×08, Flash before your eyes, Claire was drowning in the ocean when she went for a swim. She would have died if it weren’t for Desmonds interference. Seeing as how they only show Charlie from here on out being saved, and Desmond moving on, Claire would have died at some point without Desmond being able to save her, and the universe wishing to correct itself. I believe Claire is in the same form as Christian is now.

And also when she wants to attach a note to the seagull, Des tells her about Charlie going to get the seagull on the rock, falling, getting smashed against a bunch of rocks and breaking his neck.. Odds are if charlie didnt go up there to grab it Claire would have which would mean another dead Claire.

Finally something solid. What you say makes perfect sense. Never thought that if Charlie dies saving the drowning Claire, she’d probably die too.

I for one didn’t care for either character. I thought Charlie was more possessive and annoying than anything, and Claire was nice but boring in contrast to everyone else. So, I’m down with the deaths! (I can say that ’cause it’s just a show)
It is very obvious that Claire died when the house bomb went off… Watch the episode, and watch the way Miles speaks to her, he knows..
yeah, i also think claire is dead 2. i cant understand why she would leave aaron? claires been a really good mother considering she was gona give him away. when she was seen in the cabin by locke she was acting mega weird?? thanks sinister im gona re-watch the house bomb episode again, only watched it once and didnt pick up on miles. cheers dudes. eko rocks
