Christian and Claire

“It’s probably best if you don’t tell anyone that she was here”.. Remember Christian telling Locke this, just before he told Locke that he had to move the island? Why is it “best” for nobody to know that Claire was there in the cabin with Christian? And if Christian perhaps represents another entity (smoke monster/Nemesis etc), then what is the motive behind the statement?

Started watching Lost in September 2009; finished Seasons 1-5 in 20 days.. my wife was not thrilled during this time. I am a believer in John Locke and that he may somehow still play a key (and good) role on the island.

  1. i suspect christan is mib.

locke, alex and christan are dead and their bodies are on the island (christans is missing somewhere on the island). i suspect thoes 2 conditions need to be furfilled to allow mib to take their form.

he probably didnt want anyone to meddle with his plans.

claire may be working with/for mib. (would sorta explain the whole memory loss nonsense)

  2. I’m 100% convinced that Christian Shephard on the island is Smokey/MIB. And there would be a few reasons for him to tell Locke that. Maybe so no one comes looking for her, and it would be easier for people to think that she is dead. That would be one way to set things in motion so someone else raises Aaron.

  3. What is so important about someone other than Claire raising Aaron? Interesting to remember that Malkin was so adamant with Claire that no one else raises him.

  4. I think its because aaron was to be special, maybe even having powers like Walt. And people with power often get corrupted by them. So therefor a good pure motherly influence is needed to raise him to make sure he doesnt grow up to be a scumbag,
