sides are being chosen

i think that MIB is choosing people for his ‘army’.  i believe the only way for MIB imitate a person is for them to be the one who brings them back to life.  When Ben shot locke near the dharma mass grave, i believe it was MIB who brought him back to life, thus being able to imitate him once he was brought back to the island. I also believe that every ‘dead’ person we have seen has been MIB impersonating it, jacob is honest and therefore appears before people as himself, no need for trickery.

also, when the fountain turned murky, i believe that this was an indication that MIB was using it or in control of it, and when sayid was placed in it, it was MIB that brought him back to life, and at the same time, ‘infecting’ him so that he will be more inclined to side with MIB than with jacob, what better person to choose to be on his side than a soldier! and at the same time, he has another body to mimic if he should need to.  i believe this is also what happened to claire.  It was somehow important to separate aaron from claire for MIB (remember claire was told that only she was to raise him, no one else!), and the only way this would happen is if MIB had control/influence over her.
