Desmond and Number 42

I was just re-watching the episode from last nite and noticed something.
When Desmond talks to Hurley while he is eating his bucket of chicken, they call #42 and Desmond gets up and gets his order. Now, we know from the light house that #42 is Kwon but we dont know which one. Im wondering if this is significant and the one of the Kwons will be have a larger role.
What do you guys think?
Those numbers coming back in certain scenes are just ‘easter eggs’ if you ask me. I don’t believe there’s anything special to it..
