WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM? We totally lost track of them after the shower of flaming arrows fiasco. Not that I’m heartbroken over it, but I’m just wondering.

I would lay odds they are also either dead (Adam and Eve from 1954) or safely in 1977. If they did follow Sawyer and company into the 70’s the writers are deliberately saving them for a big WOW moment in a coming episode.
I am pretty sure the producers spoke of themin a recent interview. I read somewhere that they are alive and well, and will not be seen until they have an actual role on the show again.
Unless more time flashing starts happening I think Rose and Bernard are out of the running for Adam and Eve. I believe they are both alive which means they’re in the 1977 with everyone else and the bodies date back to the ’50s-’60s.
I guess it would be possible that they died during one of the flashes and ended up as Adam and Eve but I don’t think it’s likely. There really wasn’t that much time between flashes… I can’t really see Rose and Bernard suddenly both mortally wounded decided to run to the caves and position themselves in the short time that they had.
If Rose and bernard end up being adam and eve, i’m going to be gutted as to me that is a proper lame explanation for what was once (and perhaps still is)one of the biggest questions in Lost.

I think what he meant was that if the shows explanation of Adam and Eve is that it’s Rose and Bernard then that would be lame. I agree, it would be quite lame.

HOWEVER, i wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if you are right because it makes total sense as far as the show is confirmed. Just not the explanation i was looking for!
once again sorry about the misunderstanding. I used to use losttheories.com and stoped because i didn’t like the way people would criticese peoples theories in a unstructured mannor, even to the point of pointing out my spelling mistakes!
I did see Rose (well the actress, whatever her name is) on another show the other day, Secret Life of an American Teenager. I make my wife watch Lost. She makes me watch that crap. Anyway, I am guessing that is one reason we are not seeing her, and well, without her, Bernard has to go in to hiding as well.

stillpushingit, I feel certain Rose & Bernard’s whereabouts will be addressed in the future.
The writers wouldn’t drop the ball on these two characters.
I don’t believe they are dead. It will be very interesting to see where they happen to pop up, though!

I swear rose is meant to be special not letting her die so i don’t think shes dead.
I think that they are:
1. working at dharma (they just have not been shown yet). They could have just been other “survivors” of the made up salvage boat crash.
2. Taken in by the others and are staying with them.
3. Dead by arrows or flashes.
