Room 23 Revisited
Remember back when Alex’s boyfriend, Karl, was being brainwashed in room 23- here are those comforting random quotes mixed w/the random images:
Plant a good seed and you will joyfully gather fruit; Everything changes; We are the causes of our own suffering; God loves you as HE loved Jacob; Think about your life
Could this be a DHARMA psychological experiment used for ‘other’ purposes? Could ‘Jacob’ be a misinterpretation – even for something else?
Does this room make sense to anyone yet, now we have more info about both groups?
Where the heck was Karl born and to whom?
waycurious, I am still unsure of who Karl’s parents were. That is a mystery, as he was around the same age as Alex. I don’t know if we will ever find out anymore.
Room #23 was definitely used for brainwashing. There seems to be some crossover in the belief systems of Dharma and ‘the others’, that’s for sure. In particular, with Jacob! I find that quite perplexing.
I certainly haven’t figured it out, and if I did, that would be the underlying answer to Lost!

I have been beating this drum for a while. That is, that room 23 and the cabin are connected or related. Time will tell!
I like where this could lead. Because of the possibility in my mind that Karl could be Aarron.
I too like the thought of Dharma and the Others crossing over.

Yeah, I’m really curious about room 23. It seems to have been built by the dharma initiative and occupied by the others after the purge. But if that is the case, why did the others use it to brainwash Karl?
