Widmore/Ben parallel

Okay, so I don’t know why, but this popped into my head last night when someone mentioned Elli and Charles.

We are in 1977 and Charles Widmore is on the island. Now making the assumption that Penny is close to the same age as the actress portraying her (Sonya Walger is 34, so with a standard deviation of two years we can theorize that Penny is between 32 and 36 in 2007).

This being said, Penny is on the island now (or Charles leaves the Others/Hostiles for little soirees on the mainland).

But SO FAR we haven’t heard anything about Penny’s mother, much less about the Others/Hostiles having children (maybe the magic of the Temple that saves Bens life affects them in a way that causes the fertility problem).

Anyway, long story short (too late) Penny is to Widmore as Alex is to Ben. Widmore is raising Penny. This is a reoccuring theme: Ben and Alex, Kate and Aaron…
